Baby Kyleigh Jean-Ann Schmitt
March 7, 2022 - May 7, 2022
An angel who was determined to get to meet her family and share with them the eternal gift of love, baby Kyleigh Jean-Ann was granted her wings in heaven on the day that she turned two months old. She arrived in this world on March 7, 2022, at Riley Hospital for Children, in Indianapolis. The light that she brought with her will shine on through the years and every spring her spirit will return with butterflies, flowers, and daffodils. Flying with the angels, her love is everlasting and a guardian angel she will be, watching over her big sister and her precious family. Kyleigh’s memory will sparkle with hope to be reunited the day God says come home. There are no simple answers for what has happened here, but with hope and faith a bridge was built to heaven and the path is laid with love. The universe was shifted, when heaven gained an angel, but the world felt the loss. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during such a difficult time. Kyleigh now resides in heaven with her parental grandmother, LouAnn Schmitt. Left to mourn her departure are her loving parents, Andrew Schmitt and Hailey Mabie and her favorite big sister, Kenleigh Rae- Lynn Schmitt all of Gosport, grandparents, Brenda McPike Sample (Kalib) of Gosport, Pete Schmitt (Heather) of Martinsville, Tonia Hatchel of Indianapolis, Jeremy Mabie (Kimberly) of Crawfordsville; great grandparents, Teresa and Brent Sample of Paragon, Sara Collins and Ron Schmitt of Roachdale, Peter Schmitt of Eagle River, Wisconsin, Terri Nieman of Plainfield; along with aunts and uncles, Corbin, McKenzie, Jordan, Peter, Payton, Estan, Rafe and Tieraney, and a host of extended family members and close friends. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel in Monrovia. All services will be held privately, and sweet baby Kyleigh will be laid to rest in Friendship Park Cemetery, Paragon with Pastor Charles Tinsley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel, 585 E Main St, Monrovia, IN 46157 to help offset her final expenses.
