Christopher "Moose" E. Loudermilk

Christopher “Moose” E. Loudermilk, 52, of Plainfield, passed from this life unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis on June 8, 1968 to Mike and the late Doris (Wilson) Loudermilk. Raised in Minnesota, Chris’s family moved back to Indiana while he was a teenager, where he proudly graduated with Plainfield High School’s class of 1986. With a deep love of music, and the desire to entertain, Chris discovered his innate ability to bring a crowd together through music, while entertaining them with his charm; he knew the Disc Jockey life was his to own. Unfortunately, DJ Moose was forced into retirement due to the pandemic of 2020. He relocated his employment to Harley Davidson West in the parts department, where he was employed until the time of his passing. Fun loving and frequently silly, Moose went out of his way to embarrass his beloved daughters, always drawing attention to his shenanigans while in the public eye. Never missing a beat, he reveled in the company of others, enjoying the spotlight of his wide inner circle. A living and breathing testament to the biker life, Moose loved his Harleys, especially his recent purchase, his coveted Harley Road Glide. He was a faithful member of the Invisus Primus Motorcycle Brothers Club, and a member of the Plainfield Eagles. The life of the party, the best friend you will ever meet and a rock for all who knew him, Moose touched all who were fortunate to cross his path. He left this world way too early but was the soul who left a permanent mark that will never be forgotten. Moose leaves behind his father, Mike Loudermilk of Indianapolis; children, Kristen Loudermilk (Zach Wayne) of Plainfield, Savannah Loudermilk (Alex Wray) of Monrovia, Matthew Lazaro, and Colton Loudermilk (Megan) all of Plainfield; siblings, Renee Loudermilk Hays ( Jason) of San Antonio, TX and Brad Buchanan (Lisa) of Greencastle; girlfriend, Charity Hackney of Russellville; former spouse and mother of his children, Michelle Maxwell (David) of Monrovia; grandchildren, Conner, Jaxson, Lane, Kali, Kilynn, Conley and Kendall; along with his fur baby, Harley. Cremation Arrangements are entrusted to Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel in Monrovia. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 14 at the Plainfield Eagles, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with all ages welcome. On Sunday, April 18, riders 21 and up are encouraged to meet at the INDY S.O.S Clubhouse, 3310 W. Michigan St, with doors opening at 10:00 a.m., and kickstands up at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel, 585 E Main St, Monrovia, IN 46157 to help offset his final arrangements.
