Janeen Foreman

Teresa “Janeen” Foreman, 62, of Camby, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017, peacefully in her sleep and in the comfort of her own home. She was born on August 10, 1954, in Indianapolis to the late, Vernon and Barbara (Conner) Bowman. Janeen attended school at Brownsburg and graduated from Ben Davis High School. She was united in marriage with her soulmate, Denny on September 16, 1978. In addition to being a mother to her four daughters, Janeen previously worked as a machinist at WR Grace. Blessed with 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, her fun-loving, sarcastic and big-kid attitude allowed her to form a unique bond with her children and grandkids. She enjoyed the simple things in life and liked to attend auctions, watch movies, read books, shop from home and collect a variety of things. Possessing the highest quality of grit, she was a straight-from-the-hip type of gal. Without a doubt, Janeen was genuine and unfearful of confrontation. Never known to sugarcoat anything, her heart was large and always full of good intentions. Her greatest pride was her family and her role as a wife and mother; she was a best friend to her husband and each of her girls. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Tim and Vernon Bowman; mother-in-law, Lorene and father-in-law, Thomas Foreman. Survivors include her husband of nearly 39 years, Dennis L. Foreman of Camby; daughters, Rebecca White (#favoritechild) of Camby, Stephanie Lee (husband, Josh) of Monrovia, Jennifer “Raneigh” Tighe (husband, Jaime) of Missouri and Kimberly Mayaki (husband, Adams) of Indianapolis; siblings, Shane Bowman (wife, Heather) of Mooresville, Trena Swanke (husband, Les) of Ohio and Michael Bowman; sister-in-law, Martha Bowman of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Austyn, Allie, Julie, Tyler, Kyndall, Colton and Jaykob; Garrison, Genna, Gracie and Georgia; Scott and Brett; Dillon, Emily and Kamron; great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Carson and Jayden. Family and friends will gather for visitation starting at 4:00pm, on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel in Monrovia. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 7:00pm and cremation will follow services.
