Dennis M. Williams

Dennis M. Williams, 58, of Spencer and formerly of Monrovia, suddenly and unexpectedly passed from this life on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 while in his home. He was born on October 23, 1960 in Indianapolis, to his late father, Harold Williams and was raised by his mother, Bernice (Clark) Pieczko and Walter “Sonny” Pieczko; to whom was brought into his life at the young age of seventeen and has played an integral role throughout his journey. Raised in the Monrovia farming community, Dennis attended Monrovia High School with the class of 1979. He worked for Eagle Insulation for several years and most recently he was hired on at Sub Zero Contractor, where he installed refrigeration units. An avid outdoorsman, he loved being in nature and going hunting, camping and would even take his 92-year-old grandmother fishing. A loving, caring and patient man, Dennis would give you the shirt off his back. In addition, he was a wonderful father, grandfather and overall man. With broad shoulders and open ears, he listened without judgement, gave the best advice, and always managed to maintain a positive temperament. Possessing a knack for directly pointing out imperfections, he still managed to make everyone laugh. With a roaring laugh that migrated to the depths of his gut, his quick wits and playful sense of humor will remain a memory that was molded into the minds and hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Along with his mother and step father, Bernice and Sonny Pieczko of Spencer, survivors include his loving children, Kesha Roell (husband, Mark), Zach Williams and Jessica Williams all of Plainfield; siblings, Danny Williams (wife, Diana) of Monrovia, Julie Shuman (husband, Rick) of Avon and Perry Williams (wife, Cindy) of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Jacob, Mackenzie, Matthew, Jalynn, Gracelynn, Jackson, Benton and Chance, along with a host of extended family members and close friends. Friends and Family are invited to gather prior to the service from 11:00 am, on Monday, June 17, 2019, at the Gasburg Baptist Church, 11564 N Gasburg Rd, with Pastor Jack Elliott to officiate the Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 pm. Burial will be held without procession in Hudson Hill Cemetery in Spencer. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel in Monrovia and Pastor Jack Elliott will be officiating the services.
