Daltyn Robert Butts

Daltyn Robert Butts, age 20, of Mooresville, passed away on November 7, 2015, after diligently fighting an ongoing battle of injuries sustained in April from an automobile accident. Daltyn found everlasting peace on Saturday morning at 1:54am. He was born on February 18, 1995, in Indianapolis, to Dale Robert and Vicky Renay (Ellis) Butts. In junior high, Daltyn played football at Perry Meridian and continued his education at Mooresville High School. Full of inspiration and eager to learn the value of hard work, he was recently a valuable employee and crew member at Rose Tree Service. He was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed watching boxing, UFC, and playing Madden. In addition, he liked to shoot guns, play paintball, go fishing and hang out with his friends. Daltyn was a certified rescue diver and loved to scuba dive on family vacations. His contagious smile, easy going and funny personality, polite demeanor, free spirit and care free attitude will truly be missed by the many people that he touched during his short, yet meaningful lifetime. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Chester Butts. Along with his parents, survivors include his paternal grandmother, Linda Sarazen (companion, Debbie) of Libel, Florida; maternal grandparents, Donna and Lyle Baker of Stilesville; siblings, Ashleigh Terry (Scott) of Indianapolis, Dale Butts of Mooresville; Coltyn and Cole Butts both of Indianapolis; aunts and uncles, Michelle Cravens (Aaron) of Indianapolis; Michael Ellis (wife, Renata) of Bargersville; Harry Ellis (wife, Edie) of Ocala, Florida; Jason Lanker (wife, Cathy) of Hamburg, New York; Chuck Butts of Turner, Michigan; Donald Butts and Tara Gifford both of Lehigh Acres, Florida; adopted brothers and special cousins, Bryce Richer of Mooresville and Bryant Ellis of Bargersville; and girlfriend, Maranda Hollar of Bargersville. A celebration of life service will begin at 1pm, on Friday, November 13, 2015, held at Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel in Monrovia. Friends and family may visit from 5-8pm, on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the funeral home and burial will follow the services at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
