Brayson Emerson Price

Brayson Emerson Price, 5 years old, of Mooresville, was unexpectedly called home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. He was born on June 23, 2011, in Indianapolis, to Justin Morgan and Meghan Price. A loving, sweet, rambunctious boy, he saw no one as a stranger and always gave hugs to anyone that smiled at him. Brayson’s pride and joy was his F-150 Power Wheels ford truck. He desired to one day own a semi-truck and was frequently caught swiping from his mommy’s wallet. When confronted, he would proudly state his innocence and reason with, “Got to buy my tanker.” Although the Walking Dead series was at the top of his list, Brayson loved his family. He was crazy over his two-year-old brother, Steven; to whom he referred to as “Babe-Babe” and special fur buddies, a poodle named Gabe and Bella, a Chihuahua. This special little guy was known to eagerly greet each person with a warm smile and always said, “Have a Nice Day.” Some of his favorite treats included pizza, spaghetti, hot dogs, sneaking sips of his mom’s Coca-Cola, any and all kinds of candy, especially peppermints, gum and PINK birthday cake. Bray thoroughly enjoyed cuddling and often asked for backrubs by saying, “Picky my back.” An entertainer, he liked to sing, dance and put on many shows. His favorite song was “Anything Could Happen” by Cascada. Bray's tiny, but mighty presence will be forever cherished and deeply missed by his loving family. Survivors include his mother and brother, Meghan Price and Steven Ingalls, III of Camby; father, Justin Morgan of New Mexico; grandparents, Tonya and Terrell Price of Monrovia and Lee and Debra Morgan of New Mexico; great grandparents, Randy and Mary Ellen O’Neal of Mooresville, Patricia Kauffman of Indianapolis and Charles Price of Texas; maternal great great grandmother, Virginia O’Neal of Indianapolis; loving aunt, Lauren Price of Danville; uncle, Austin Morgan of New Mexico; aunts, Jennifer Jaramillo of Florida and Melanie Hamilton of Nebraska; and fur-friends, Gabe and Bella. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5 to 7pm, on Thursday, December 1, 2016, in Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel in Monrovia. Pastor Dennis Payton will officiate the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 7:30pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Brayson’s Memorial Fund c/o the family.
